best guides for do it yourself power leveling

August 1st, 2010

trust me when I say I know the temptation to have someone else do your early level grinding  for you is very tempting. I myself have done some serious investigating into finding a cheap power leveling company I can trust, but when it can down to it, I just couldn’t give out my account information. The whole process I had to go though to find the best way to do cheap power leveling did leave me with though is a firm understanding about which downloadable programs for WoW are the best and most worthwhile.  Besides that, when I really thought about it, why did I buy the game if I am just going to have somebody else play for me, and pay through the nose for it to boot? Not to mention the risks to my account security.

The only option that made sense was to go with one of the WoW leveling guides available online. I had heard some good and bad things about many of them but I wanted to check them out for myself. After doing way too much research, which included speaking with fellow guild members, reading many, many reviews,  then finally buying them for myself. I narrowed my selections down to 2 leveling guides. One is Joana’s and the other was Zygor’s.

Guide>#1-Zygor’s guide —–> I can’t wait! Take me to my FREE trial of Zygor’s guide!

* Horde and Alliance guides
* All classes and all races
* Boasts world record leveling speed to level 80 in less than 7 days
* Automatic detection and reconfiguration upon quest completion
* Advanced talent advice for fast leveling
* Has all the class quests for every class
* Has a community forum
* Costs less

Those are the main differences that Zygor has over Joana, in my opinion.

I can tell you that Zygor’s class quest guide saves me time for any class with lots of required quests. Also the way the guide interacts with the games program is very intuitive especially when it comes to detecting your quests and where you are in the process of said quest and automatically reacting accordingly to steer you toward your next quest.

The community forums are open and honest, in the sense that your comments or problems with the guide are not filtered be they positive or negative. Any problems are addressed promptly by forum admins. Which says a lot.

Guide>#2- Joana’s guide —–> I can’t wait! Take me to my FREE Trial of Joana’s Guide!

* Horde guides only
* Any Horde race or class – Extra good guide for hunter class
* very exact hunter quest guide
* Macros, addons and key bindings recommended by Joana
* Complete video on how to complete quests
* Cool advise for soloing hard quests
* Costs more and additional cost for 70 – 80 upgrade

As you can see Joana’s has some good points as well, especially if you are a hunter. The guide fucntions just fine if you aren’t a hunter. I had only a few situations where I was battling higher level creatures but if you have decent gear it’s no big deal.

The main difference that stuck with me between these guides is that joana adds more in depth information on hard quests, with video walk throughs and specific advise and personal touch. Zygor’s is more along the lines of go here, then go there, very cut and dry.

So which one should you get?

If you are still uncertain about which guide to get. My recommendation is to get Zygor’s guide, unless you are a hunter, for the following reasons: automated in game guide, its like 25 dollars cheaper, give or take,(prices change) more class quest guides. So, that’s my recommendations for do it yourself cheap power leveling. I hope this was helpful to you. Below Are links to both leveling guides just click one to check it out.

Who needs cheap power leveling?

April 24th, 2010

WoW cheap power leveling is a popular thing these days. Everywhere I turn on the forums and WoW chats people are pushing some type of cheap power leveling. Everyone makes claims to be able to cheap power level faster that the next company. There seems to be a ton of one-upsmanship among the companies claiming to be the fastest power levelers. I guess I just don’t get why one would want to pay somebody else to play WoW for them. What’s the point? I mean the journey is the adventure and the fun.

I guess, if I think about it I can find a few reasons to look for someone else to do my leveling. If I only wanted to do 80th level pvp with a specific character class I don’t yet have made or is extremely low level. If I was really wealthy and just didn’t care what I was wasting my money on. Then I suppose looking for cheap power leveling. Well, whatever the reason, it just doesn’t make sense to me. Where is your sense of pride. I would much rather get a good leveling guide like Zygors, then waste my time and money looking for cheap power leveling.

Cheap power leveling – risky business

January 14th, 2010

When it comes to outsourcing the cheap power leveling of your World of Warcraft characters you would be well advised to think twice about it. I know of at least 2 people who have had their WoW account information compromised by online services promising to do “cheap power leveling”  their characters. While I’m sure there are some legitimate companies offering these services, there are a ton of scammers out there as well.

In my opinion giving your account information, even to a well researched cheap power level company is a gamble, because while the company itself may be on the up and up, the employees handling your account information may not be. They could also become unhappy with there income or employer and decide to sell or steal your information for profit. There is a very good reason why blizzard says not to share your account information “with anyone”.

Besides, there are plenty of  great software packages out there that allow you cheap power level your own characters. I have tried out many of these guides and programs, and have been power leveling for cheap for 4 years now. Back in the day I was able to go from 1-60 in 2 weeks, and more recently I was able to get paladin to 80 in about 4 weeks (give or take a day).
